Amigos carries out a highly active Youth Program, whose key component is Juventud FACETA, an immigrant Latino youth group whose members range in age from 14 to 24. The youth group is engaged in advocacy on behalf of immigrant rights in the Eugene/Springfield area, as well as at the state and regional levels.
Through its Human Rights Education Program, Amigos offers speakers and panel participants on human rights topics, particularly topics that relate to U.S. immigration policies and the human rights experiences of immigrants from Latin America. In addition, the youth group Juventud FACETA conducts trainings and workshops on immigrant rights as human rights.
